Why not checking before yelling out. True, that electricity is by far not all clean, but saying that in 'almost all cases' it comes from carbon sources is just untrue. Electricity generation from total combustible fuels accounted for 58.6% of total OECD gross electricity production (compared to 72.3% for non-OECD). So, true, more than half of the electricity that is produced in OECD countries comes from oil, gas, or coal. But this is definitely not 'almost all cases'. And 'Scandinavia' that you cite as the only place where electricity is not generated mostly by oil, gas, and coal, is definitely not the only one. Look at Germany, for example, where in 2019 only 39% of the electricity consumed was produced by fossil sources: a whopping 46% was produced with renewable resources.
